I would highly recommend you get the program called CheckView from ACE. It is Quicken compatible and is less than 100K in size with the Data files. I have been using it for almost a year now and it is great. I record all my checks on the HP and then once a month transfer a small .QIF file to my desktop and balance within about 5 minutes. You can also use it as a stand alone, but I have found the way I do it to be good for me. The price is only $49 and well worth it.
